PROCEDURE FOR RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION
R.M.A.
  1. Send to FARO Technical Assistance Service the present form, completely filled in, to this e-mail address: service@faro.it or via fax to number: +39 039 6878515. Indicate in the most detailed way all the required information. Without the filled document, the technician could not determinate the origin of the product problem. The description of the flaw must not be generic, so we will not accept ‘it doesn’t work’ or ‘out of order’. A thorough description of the flaw considerably reduces the time for repair/substitution. Notice: if possible, always indicate the serial number of the product. If necessary, for a RMA longer than one sheet use the same form as following page.
  2. Wait from FARO for the return of the sheet ‘Authorization for return material RMA’ with the RMA number and the related approval. Within 12 hours FARO Technical Assistance Service will give the RMA number. The RMA number has a validity of 30 days, after which the number will be cancelled. Notice: please do not contact by phone FARO After Sale Assistance Office in order to obtain a RMA number. For a correct procedure FARO After Sale Assistance Office will communicate it only by fax or e-mail.
  3. Once obtained the R.M.A. number, return the material packed in the correct original packaging or in a similar one that protects the content during the shipment. The material should preferably be returned by courier.
  4. The assigned R.M.A. number must be indicated in the shipping note (only for EU countries) / pro forma invoice (for Extra EU countries). A copy of R.M.A. form must be present within the packaging that will be shipped.
  5. The material must be delivered free of charge to Servizio Assistenza F.A.R.O. S.p.A. -  Via Faro 15 – 20876 -  Ornago (MB) - Italy
