CONTRACTUAL RULES FOR MATERIAL RETURN

The following rules integrally belong to the guarantee enclosed in the new sold product.


The guarantee for the new sold product is considered active starting from the day of sale of the product to the final client. In case of products returned with possibly expired guarantee, please enclose a copy of the sale invoice. Otherwise will be considered the date of the FARO S.p.A. invoice to the warehouse.
From the date of the purchase from FARO S.p.A. of the new sold product to the sale to the final client must pass a maximum time of 6 months. After this period the guarantee on the new sold product must be considered automatically active.
Any material returned without RMA number will be sent back to the sender. The expenses for this will be charged to the sender.
The products subject to possible contamination must be returned within an envelope and previously sterilized. If different, the material will be rejected.
Any repair or substitution of parts on guaranteed products does not imply the extension of the guarantee period of the product itself.
The guarantee only regards the restoration of the functionality of the device acknowledged defective for manufacturing or material, through the repair or the substitution of the parts or of the complete device.
The product or the parts acknowledged defective and substituted in guarantee become property of FARO S.p.A.
The guarantee on the repair is three months long, and refers only to substituted parts.
For repairs not covered by guarantee will be created and sent a cost estimation. Only after approval by the client, the repair will be carried out. If the client will not give indications within 10 days from estimation issue, FARO S.p.A. will send back the not repaired product, with the related charges.
The non acceptance of the estimation implies a cost charge indicated in a detailed way on the same estimation.
Once completed the repair not covered by guarantee, the substituted defective parts will not be sent back. If necessary, on client’s request, they will be sent back together with the repaired device. In case of heavy or cumbersome defective parts, the additional shipping expenses will always be at client’s charge.
Will be at client’s charge the cost of material examination when NO anomalies should be verified, according to the content of the technical report that will be communicated.
The products returned from trial or samples that will result incomplete for accessories or parts essential for the functioning will be restored and the related cost will be invoiced.
FARO S.p.A. Technical Assistance is not responsible of breaks caused by inadequate transport or packaging.
The transport expenses are always at client’s charge. If the material arrives with carriage expenses will be sent back to the sender.
The authorization to credit note for the material return is released by FARO S.p.A. Commercial Manager: without this authorization the product will be rejected.
The substitution of the product can be authorized only by FARO S.p.A. Commercial Manager
